The Applegate Fire District has released two “Request for Proposals (RFPs)” documents asking contractors to assist us in implementing our fuels management program. The Applegate Fire District is seeking contractors who specialize in providing equipment operators, timber fellers, mechanical mastication, and forestry handcrews to enhance the capacity of our fuels program. Our intention is to ensure the equitable sharing of these opportunities. Applegate Fire District values our local and regional contractors greatly and would like to share information about upcoming opportunities with them.
